|Cbonds published the ranking of the arrangers of syndicated loans of the CIS countries according to the results of the first half of 2018. In just six months, 91 transactions were concluded in the amount of 7.251 billion dollars. |
In the consolidated league tables of arrangers of syndicated loans within CIS, ING ranked first in terms of volume. The bank participated in the arrangement of 12 loans for 11 borrowers, and the volume of its participation amounted to 2.167 billion dollars. The second line of ranking based on the volume of provided financing is taken by UniCredit, which arranged 10 loans in the amount of 723 million dollars. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group arranged 4 loan participations for 4 borrowers in the amount of 547 million dollars, thus taking the third place in the league table. The fourth place is taken by Societe Generale, which arranged 7 loans for 6 borrowers in the amount of 507 million dollars. The fifth line in the league table is Credit Agricole CIB, on the account of which there are 5 loans for 4 borrowers amounting to 365 million dollars. In total, the top 5 banks-arrangers of syndicated financing took 60% of the market.
In the Russian league tables, the leading position in terms of transaction volume was taken by ING with a volume of 1,476 million dollars, and the second position was taken by UniCredit, which arranged 9 credits amounting to 691 million dollars. The third line is occupied by Societe Generale with 6 credits amounting to 476 million dollars. In total, during the first half of 2018, on the domestic market of Russia, syndicated loans were attracted in the amount of 5,753 billion dollars, and 66 transactions were performed.
